I went in to valvoline in the beginning of November for a simple oil change. The crew there seemed okay but the prices were outrageous. I asked to speak to the manager there to see if there was anyway I could reason with him but it was hard to talk to him while he was starring at my chest. After five minutes of me talking to Erik I was able to actually make eye contact with him and actually explain what I was looking for it only seemed like he was interested in getting my number. I felt so awkward the whole conversation while he sat there and undressed me with his eyes. He offered me half off of my oil change just to take me out sometime. I told him no I'm a married woman and was only interested in getting the oil change but after 15 minutes of me being there I had to leave because he kept insisting we kept it a secret. I find the manager there very unprofessional and a total creeper definitely one of those guys that would force themselves upon you. Definitely will never be going back there again and he's very lucky I haven't called his corporate office about this matter ! Very unsatisfied & wouldn't recommend any female customer talking to Erik. If I was the boss I would definitely keep him in the back or just let him go total sleeze

Took my car in for an oil change. Staff recommended a" fuel system cleaning" The next week my brakes failed on Amherst Street! After almost killing 3 people before the car coasted to a stop. I was towed to my mechanic who checked out my cars brakes and found a hose under the hood had become disconnected and had a crimp in it. He asked if I had a" system flush"!!! When I returned to Valvoline to try and get reimbursed, the manager Erik could not have been any more rude. He told me there it's no way this could be their fault and that my mechanic overcharged me for a $20.00 part. Now that I have warned all of you I'm moving on to consumer affairs, better business bureau, New York state and Valvoline headquarters! Good luck to anyone foolish enough to get their" system flushed" by these fools!

I gave 1 star just to draw attention to my review. I went there for an oil change. When they were finishing up, I was told I needed to replace my battery, that the car would not start and that they checked it out and in fact it was completely dead. They said luckily they had the correct one in stock and it would cost me $120 . I noticed the car in the next bay was also getting a new battery. I opened the door and my lights came on, radio worked. I also saw on the paper work that the battery checked out ok. I turned the key and it fired up without hesitation. needless to say, I did not purchase their battery. The following day my son accidentally left my lights on for a few hours. The car still started immediately. Clearly verifying that they in fact are tried to rip me off ! I wonder if the car that was next to mine actually needed the battery they installed in it. I'll need to go elsewhere for my next oil change. I suggest everyone reading this do the same.
