This place does NOT care about it's senior residents!!!! They do not shovel snow or put down salt in the winter time. My 71 year old mother triped on loose gravel a fell a few weeks back. I get ill just thinking about what could have happened to her if I hadn't been there when she fell. Her apartment is CONSTANTLY flooding!! In January she has had flooding 3 times!! The most recent flood was Saturday 1/28/12. There was a good 1/2 inch of water! My daughter discovered the water when we were dropping her off at home after church. We had to pack a bag and take my mother home with us. She was very distraught!! Today I called the property manager before noon to see if there were other apartments available so that my mother could be moved. It is now 3pm and I have not received a return call. I am considering calling the news!!! I am also now looking for another place for my mother to live as she is very independent and not ready to live with her children. She does not want to leave the friends she has made at Walden Park but her safety is my main concern!!!
