Buffalo Elementary School offers its services for the students in grades kindergarten through four. It is governed by the Union County School District and is located in Buffalo, S.C. It serves to more then 550 students. The various subjects offered include English, literature, language arts, mathematics and computation, science, social studies and history. In addition, the school provides foreign language, music, fine arts and computer technology, and health and physical education classes. The school has received various awards that include State School Literacy Spot Award, Palmetto Silver Award for Student Achievement and Red Carpet Award. Buffalo Elementary School has a parent-teacher organization that monitors the overall academic progress of the students and also supports through fundraising.
