I went to pick up my prescriptions to find that only one was filled. I was told it would arrive the following day. I should have been called immediately to inform me that my prescription could not be filled so I could have gone elsewhere. Instead, it was too late to contact my doctor to have them call it in to a different pharmacy. Consequently, my condition was three times worse by morning. I called rite aid, asked when my prescription would be ready, and why I was not called as soon as they knew they could not fill it. The pharmacist actually lied to me, telling me he did call me but my phone was busy. Ya right. Once I picked up the prescription, I saw that it cost 89.00. No wonder they didn't want to give me the option to have it filled some where else. They didn't want to lose the money. They didn't care that my doctor wanted me treated ASAP. They didn't care that because of them, it's going to be a longer recovery. I will never support this greedy and negligent business again.
