Provided by YP.comDO NOT COME HERE! Went here for new back brakes. a day or so after having the brakes replaced i started hearing a knocking sound from the back wheels whenever i drove. Took it back to them to check and they said it was my lower control bushings and my brakes were fine. $400 worth of work but not to worry, it was nothing to worry about right away, as it was just an irritating noise that doesn't affect the car. now another month later the noise is so loud and only goes away when i put on the brakes.took it back to brake masters only for them to tell me the brakes were not installed correctly and the pads were slipping. Now pissed this is the SECOND time they have looked at it, when they could've fixed it the first time, instead of trying to get me for another 400. Supposedly those employees are no longer there, and the manager stated his only obligation was "to fix the brakes" and that was all. After trusting this place not ONCE, BUT TWICE WITH NO FIX I WOULD NOT EVER GO BACK THERE!

Provided by YP.comI always dread getting my car worked on. As a woman in a new community, I worry about getting ripped off. I always do my homework and get estimates from multiple places. In the two years I have lived here, this is where I always end up taking my car. They are honest people with reasonable prices.

Provided by YP.comWorst experience ever. I paid the Brake Masters over in Kingman, AZ over $1000 to have my air conditioner unit fixed. It broke less than 18 hours later, even though I only used it for about an hour, and now they won't work with me to reimburse my money. They tell me the repair is out-of-warranty because of something they never informed me of, so I have to eat the cost of the repair. Additionally, my engine rattles when I start the car and when I accelerate, which is a problem that did not exist before going to Brake Masters. Repeated calls, messages, and emails to customer service have failed, and their corporate office representative, Timothy Harphant, does not seem to care what the situation is -- he merely takes a strict, hardline no-refunds policy. They have asked me to have a different company (Timothy Harphant suggested FireStone) repair the car and to have them contact Brake Masters to compare notes. Also, they asked for their AC compressor to be removed and shipped back to them -- except I, apparently, have to pay for the cost of both the removal, as well as the shipping and handling. They would not tell me how much money they would give back if I returned the compressor, or if there would be any usage fees or restocking fees or anything similar. Considering my experience with Brake Masters so far, I would not be surprised if they tried to squeeze even more money out of me. I'm sorry, but these people are freaking crooks man!
