Provided by YP.comI haven't even gotten an appointment yet. Following their direction, I had my referral order hard copy faxed to them. I was then told to call back and schedule my appointment. I did just that. When Susan answered the phone, she was breathing very heavily on the phone and needed me to talk very slowly. Susan was very rude and basically said she didn't have time to get my referral off the fax machine and schedule my appointment. She stated very rudely that when it's on her desk tomorrow I can schedule my appointment. I explained I was just following instructions that their office gave me earlier in the day. She rudely cut me off and talked down to me. I will try to find out her last name and update my review. Note I have not seen Dr Valpiani yet. But my expectations are low due to the poor customer and professionalism I've experienced with his staff so far.
We all have bad days every now and then. But when you work in a professional environment you need to keep it together! Shame on you Susan! I will be letting Dr Valpiani know how you are treating his customers when and if I see him. If he redeems his office I will update my reviews. 1 star

Provided by YP.comDr Valpiani is a good doctor. He is really knowledgeable and knows his stuff. I have been a patient with him for 2 years. I have never had a problem when I go see him.

Provided by YPmobileMy 79-year-old grandmother has been seeing Dr. Valpiani for three years for chronic pain due to a back injury five years ago. He prescribed her four morphine pills a day and a fentanyl patch to be replaced every three days. He fired her last week in the rudest way possible because she has cut herself down to two morphine pills a day, and makes the fentanyl patch stretch for up to five days. He started berating her when she told him that and so she said she thought cutting down would be a good thing, but if he wanted her to she would go back to taking it all. She's the sweetest old lady, so of course she just wanted to please him. Well, he shredded her prescription right in front of her and said, "No, I'm done with you. You're fired." Then he stormed out. She was understandably shaken up and has been beating herself up over it. Luckily her primary care doctor and the rest of us have been reassuring her that she wasn't in the wrong and good riddance to that rude and pompous doctor. He should be ashamed for making a poor old woman feel so awful!
