When it comes to bikes, this is the best place to go to, weather you are looking for a exact part or just going for a tune, this is the place where you want to entrust you bike.

The guys at John's ave very experienced and knowledgeable. I do not ride a top of the line multi thousand dollar bike and have always been treated fair and the same as the guy with the fancy expensive bike. They have an awesome selection of bikes as well as parts and gear. The service is top notch and very reasonable. Jim W.

As a life long high-end bicycle enthusiast, I've been known to frequent many different shops and have done so since the 70's. Sure, they have some good high end stuff there, but they throw so much attitude that I have walked out every time I've been there and I'm never going back. By the way, asking them to do any remotely custom work, like supplying the correct bracket to change brake rotor sizes is beyond their ability.

First of all let me start off by saying that this is one of the nicest bike shops around. It's tiny and well stocked with plenty high end bikes and components. The store is very nicely decorated as well. I walk in there from time to time on my lunch break to look at the bikes I can't afford. Parking can sometimes be an issue. This establishment is very expensive. Everything is way overpriced. Some of the employees are knowledgeable and most are very rude. I've noticed that the employees have double standards set. If you are a little overweight, if you don't work for the studios or you don't ride a European bike, then don't bother walking into this place as you will not get good service. If you are a tri-athlete, if you ride a high end European bike or if you work for Disney, then you will be treated like royalty. I have seen this with my very own eyes as I have been in the store on several occasions. I ride with a very large group of cyclists and all but one are an actual customers of this store. It's obvious that Bicycle Johns is doing something wrong, and honestly I don't really think they care.
