The renovations are done and the place looks great! The service was attentive and helpful today. It was nice to come early and beat the rush. The black bean burger was delicious, as always, and you can't go wrong with the buffalo chips and a side of queso!

Spiciest Wings in Town!

5 stars for a sauce that was able to make a Korean woman get buggy eyed & delirious!

Taste is like any good hot wing - tasty but able to keep that crunch on the outside.

Service provided by Carlos (dude - he is TALL!) was 5 stars! Very friendly, attentive, smiled a lot, helpful (except in clarifying that even Asians die from the Blazin').

This is what we tried (FYI 5 wings minimum to order per flavor):

1) Blazin' w/ bones (the one that made me pause b/w each bite to either take a bite of another wing, gulp down the Guinness which was a big mistake 'cos I started to choke, stuff my mouth w/ a ranch dressing covered buffalo chip, or just sit there w/ my mouth open & breathing in and out and trying not to die). Don't bother eating any sauce after this 'cos you can barely taste anything while seeing triple (not double...triple). It's so spicy it doesn't clear the sinus - it plugs it up - which doesn't matter 'cos I'm panting through my mouth anyway.

2) Wild BBQ w/ bones (tastes like any other spicy hot wing from anywhere else)

3) Mango Habanero w/ bones (tasty - lightly spicy & sweet)

4) Hot BBQ boneless (anticlimactic after the Blazin' - just stick w/ Wild)

5) Spicy Garlic w/ bones (tasty but not as garlicky as I would've liked it - I like the vampire killing breath stink that raw garlic brings...I mean come on - it was just Halloween - I had to protect myself!)

6) Honey BBQ boneless (tangy BBQ - no spice - definitely you should get if you don't want to be sweating beads)

7) Parmesan Garlic w/ bones (okay this was just weird - it tasted almost like a fettuccine alfredo sauce - without the pasta - and it was SALTY - yeah - not gonna order this one again).

8) Caribbean Jerk boneless (dry rub? It was like a popcorn chicken white meat pieces...nothing special but 'cos it was a dry rub - it was crispy so a definite reorder next time)

FYI - I prefer bone in - something about gnawing on the cartilage ends & sucking on the bones just satisfies the craving in me belly.

Side orders:

1) Onion Rings - the crispy fried oily outside is too similar to the wings so I would pass on this. HOWEVER, it comes w/ a side of ranch or southwestern ranch so at least you don't have to order the dressing as an extra side.

2) Buffalo chips (sounds gross like buffalo poo - but it's like Shakey's Mojo potatoes but fried crispy) - pretty tasty

3) French Fries (super fried crispy - kinda like the potato wedges from Jack In The Box but thinner & has this thing fried w/ it that gives it this yum flavor) - definite order again

4) Celery Sticks (you have to pay for this)

5) Side of Ranch Dressing (you have to pay for this)

Drinks: Guinness & Diet Coke for me, Stella Artois & Water for Ji, Diet Coke for Sang.

We got there around 6:30 p.m. and it was barely half full. Then the Laker game started and it got PACKED! Lotta tv screens everywhere - pretty noisy - come on - it's a BAR! Saw some people brought their kids but it's not like a stripper bar - it's a sports bar.

I'd go back - in maybe a month or two - I ate way too many wings the other night. I'm chickened out!

I have been waiting for this p...

I have been waiting for this place to open up in my area ever since I saw their stock prices moving up a couple of years back. On Halloween, I finally got a chance to go. This is a great place for chicken wings and french fries. The big screens were playing football and basketball games and the setting is similar to that of a sports bar.

The wings are very spicy so please beware. I have a high threshold for spice but this was hot even by my standards. Of course there are over 10 types of sauces to pick from (I picked Hot). The french fries were crispy and fresh.

The service kinda sucked. It took 4 waiters and 20 minutes to get sodas and they came flat and without an apology. They were busy but it was by no means packed, so the service was inexcusable.

I will go there again but because of the setting and wings - not the service.
