Provided by YP.comseeing the movie "IP MAN" brought me to this wing chun studio. after attending for a year, i have a good perspective how the studio works. for you to be proficient in this art, you must study for at least 5 years. this art is not practical in comparison to kick boxing, mixed martial arts or jujitsu. being the most expensive school in southern California you expect organized classes, friendly atmosphere, and no politics. none of these exist here. though the owner is more than skilled in his art this doesn't mean it crosses over to him being able to run his business, teach classes, and be humble. in fact its the opposite, you pay for everything even the water, the classes are disorganized and too short, and the teacher is arrogant, greedy and has awful customer skills. seems that to advance levels, private lessons are pushed on you, if your not interested you stay where your at. seems that " IP MANS" philosophy got lost somewhere between china and LA. your in America, be a smart consumer, read other sites like yelp to confirm your suspicions that there are problems with this facility and figure out that there are alternatives that are less costly with better results. you want to learn how to fight not to pad pad peoples pockets with hard earned dollars, good luck

Provided by YP.comThis school has an awesome location schedule etc but what really makes it stand out is a) the amazing instruction (Bruce Lee's style) and b) the cool people. Expert instructors, great students (lots are producers, actors, directors, and other creative types, also nurses, doctors, corporate types in marketing and such, etc, just a great mix of people), just a really cool vibe. I've made some great friends here in the adults program and would recommend it to anyone.

Provided by YP.comThis is a great school for adults and kids alike. My son currently attends the Little Pandas classes for 3-5 year old children and he has a great time. Sometimes I stay to watch the older kids (6-12) do class - they're really amazing, like little Bruce Lees. For adults, they specialize in Wing Chun but also teach other Shaolin styles, kickboxing, etc.
Hands down, this is the best kung fu school in Burbank.

Provided by YP.comI was looking for a school for my 6 year old daughter and was lucky enough to find Sifu Tei's school. My daughter has been with the school for almost 8 months now and my husband and I just joined last month. The instructor is incredible. He was taught by Bruce Lee's teacher. Everyone at the school is very friendly. It's a safe and fun environment for my family. They really take the time to teach your child correctly and give them the proper discipline and learning atmosphere that is conducive to learning. I can't praise this school enough. I want to sign up too, and I would if I wasn't having another child in 2 months. Don't enroll anywhere until you check them out.

Provided by YP.comAs of May 1st, 2010 this school moved to:
521-A N. Hollywood Way

Can't say enough good things about the new location - ample parking, great neighboring stores (Subway, Albertsons, Menchie's, etc.), comfortable seating, free coffee/tea, etc.
Great location, great school!
check out their website at www.kungfuwingchun.com too.
