Great comic shop, solid variety and selection, good prices, friendly staff. If they don't have something I'm looking for, they will always offer to order it.

Paul and Erik, the proprietors, are a rare combination: they know comics and the related fields as well as anyone, and they're also smart, funny, friendly, helpful, and on top of all that-- they're memorable characters! No matter if you are a die hard comics fan or someone totally unfamiliar with them, they'll treat you nicely and take good care of you at the House. The selection is impressive, running the whole spectrum: new comics, graphic novels, trade paperbacks and hardcover editions, collectible back issues, inexpensive reading copies, figures, and their own self-published editions of work by well-known artists. I'm sure I've missed something-- go check it out yourself. Forget those overhyped boutiques south of the Hollywood Sign.
