Although a chain, Islands makes for a fun, family outing that feels very much a part of the community. The staff is always upbeat and friendly, going out of their way to assist diners. Food is always served fresh and there are a diversity of menu items for just about every palate.

Great place for a group of friends or going out with the family where you will inevitably run into friends-this is Burbank...! They have all the standard burgers and chicken sandwiches, salads and French fries. My friend met me for lunch and we tried the tortilla soup and to my surprise I absolutely loved it! I have a new Islands favorite meal!

Islands is the go to place with my family. Everyone gets what they want and everyone ends up happy. It's a great restaurant to go to right before the movies.

This is a typical Islands. It has a great decor, great food & fun atmosphere. At times it can be busy so service is slower, but overall it's a fun place to go every now & then. Yummy fries with cheddar!

Food and service is always great. The cheddar fries are our favorite thing on the menu. And the kids love the burgers.

Always a great place for kids and parents to come eat. Never really disappoints. Good burgers and fish tacos. Wait service is good and quick.

I appreciate the fact that they provide our school with student achievement coupons as well as the fundraising nights. Kids enjoy the atmosphere and the kids meals. We love the cheddar fries. Plenty of city parking lots adjacent to it.

We always enjoy the bar at Islands! Cold beer and Cheese Fries are awesome!! Our server was very attentive and eager to pour us another cold one! We watched some of the Dodger game on the TV!

Food is average. It has a good ambience. Nothing spectacular about this place but fills you up. A bit pricey for the food they provide

You can't go wrong with any of their burgers. They offer bottomless fries so you can order one for the entire group!

I had high hopes for my visit to Islands since I've heard good things about it. Staff is friendly enough and atmosphere is nice as well. Menu seemed pretty good till I ordered my burger and was greeted with a resounding no when I asked for med rare. Strike one. My coke gets delivered to our table and is flat. Strike two. Wait time for our food was reasonable. First bite into my burger and you guessed it...Strike three. I've read some of the positive reviews and I've got to question if these people just haven't experienced a proper burger yet. I understand some palettes are different and we all enjoy food differently but if you're looking for a good burger then I suggest going elsewhere.

Nice friendly atmosphere. Little to no waiting. Friendly staff. Burgers are huge and juicy. I recommend the Kilauea, its spicy! Great drinks and desserts too. Nice place to chill.

I visited this Islands Restaurant in Burbank with a friend on a recent Saturday just after noon. We expected that we'd run into a crowd - it's the holiday shopping season, and we were just blocks away from the Media Center mall. However, we were seated and served promptly and politely. My friend and I always order the Cabo Loco - the grilled pork soft tacos with that killer chili-cilantro sauce - and a basket of fries to share. Top that off with a never-ending glass of Passion Fruit Iced Tea, and you've got a great meal for two. This Islands has free parking in the garage next door, which can get a little dicey on a busy shopping day, but is mostly easy to get in and out of. Highly recommended for a casual meal out.
