King County Fire District provides fire suppression, fire prevention, hazardous materials response, mutual aid response and emergency medical services in cooperation with King County Medic One, the 911 Communications Center and other related public services. The department has more than 35 paid and over 20 volunteer personnel staffs, two fire engines, one aerial ladder and one aid car to assist more than 40,000 residents. King County Fire District is headquartered in Burien, Wash.
