So up and down here, some employees are ok and some are downright rude, maybe because its a government job?

We live on 155th and our postal person is horrible! He shoves things into our mailbox causing damage

He smokes in the truck and often I can smell it on our mail. He also just throws package deliveries at our door and does not see if someone is home first. (We can hear the packages hitting the door!) He's incredibly rude as well.

Used to be a good post office until they took on unreasonable hours of operation now I can only get my mail on Saturday. They open when I am heading to work and close before I leave the least the could do was stagger their hours to not match everyone else s work scheduled. Or just do what they used to and leave the section with the po boxes open so people can get their mail.

If I could give no stars, or negative stars, I would. A package of mine was being delivered to the wrong address. The post office in Des Moines figured this out themselves up-front, called me and verified my new address and stated they would forward it. However the forward appears to have sent it to Burien. I called the Burien post office and a man with an Asian accent answered the phone. He obviously did not want to help me and refused to look up my package by tracking number, instead arguing with me that if I live in Federal Way I'd want to call the Federal Way office. I finally insisted he look up the item by tracking code. He got the number from me and put me on hold. He came back and asked for the number a second time, I gave it to him and he got several numbers wrong. I gave it to him a third time. He looked it up and said that the tracking, which he sarcastically implied I could look up myself and that that what the tracking number is for, showed it is in Des Moines. I advised him I am looking at the online tracking as we speak and that it shows it in Burien. I finally got tired of his attitude and asked for his name. He hung up on me. I called back, he picked up the phone and placed it on hold without saying a word. I called on a second line when the first was still on hold, he picked it up, immediately hung it up, then picked up my call on hold and hung it up. At that point I called Des Moines and received exactly the information I was looking for with no hassle what-so-ever. I'll be posting this review anywhere and everywhere I can and tracking down how to lodge a formal complaint with USPS regarding this.

They don't answer their phone

The mailman doesn't try to deliver registered mail to your home, they just put a note in the mailbox and expect you to collect your own mail, doing their job! And when you try to call they don't answer the phone! Great customer service!
