Established in 1963, Spring-Mar is a cooperative association composed of parents and professional educators whose aim is to create an outstanding preschool program.Spring-Mar offers 2-day, 3-day and 4-day programs for children ages 2 to 5 years-old. Class size is small and adult/child ratios are extremely low.Located on the premises of Accotink Unitarian Universalist Church in in Burke VA, Spring-Mar is not affiliated with any religious institution and does not discriminate on the basis of race, creed, color, national or ethnic origin. We strive to celebrate the diversity of cultures and traditions of families in our community and welcome families of all backgrounds and composition.

We LOVE Spring Mar. My son is thriving in the preschool. The play-based learning really works for us and being part of the co-op is great. We've met so many amazing families at Spring Mar. We also did playschool through Spring Mar before starting preschool and felt that was a great way to get our son used to going to school.
