Hughes Middle School is a public school that provides educational programs to more than 800 students in grades six through eight. It has a library media center that contains print, nonprint, hardware, software, and online resources to enrich student s classroom studies and to assist them in writing reports. The school offers classes in various subjects, including English, writing, math, history, science, technology, algebra and physical education. It also offers instructional programs in comprehension, special education and vocabulary. It provides a wide range of sports activities, such as baseball, basketball, cheerleading, softball, cross country, and track and field. Hughes Middle School is a division of the Burleson Independent School District and is located in Burleson, Texas.
