They stripped out my oil pan drain plug and sayed nothing about it, and it has to be replaced due to its aluminum oil pan. And I'll be out around 700.00

Ripped Off and Lied To. I stopped by here for an oil change. They sent a girl in to show me my air filter...yes, it was dirty, but they charged me 39.99 for it! (they cost $11 ...I later found out). Then he told me I REALLY needed a brake job and he would 'treat me right'. (I later took my car to someone else to have the brakes looked at and they said..."you've got another 20K to go on those pads".) Kwik Kar also said I needed a transmission flush...heck...I believed him.So, I walked away having paid almost $400 (on my credit card...I am unemployed right now :-( I got the distinct feeling they take advantage of me because I am a woman and didn't question them. ( they tried to sell a filter to a man that was there and he asked how much?....(it was a more complex filter) and they said $19.99. I will NEVER go back....should have trusted my gut instincts. BUYER BEWARE!!

My daughter took her car in for an oil change and tune up. They were there for 4 hours and nothing had been done. She told them to just do the oil change and they did that, but they tore off some vacuum lines and switched some plug wires around and they wanted to charge her 400.00 for the work. She said no way. When she left there the car would hardly ran. The car shooked and the engine knocked. The tranny would not shift. The car would not go over 30 mph. She almost lost her job at the Alvarado post office and she had her to children with her. They chewed her out for not letting them do the work. The car is fixed now thanks to her brother, so please don't take your vehicle to kwik kar and lube on Alsbury I'm reporting them to (BBB). Someone needs to put them out of business. They take advantage of women and people that don't know anything about vehicle's. So please spread the word around about their shady practices. They are a disgrace to all mechanics out there. So tell everyone you know. DON'T GO THERE.

This place needs to shut down for their shady practices and taking advantage of women and people that don't anything about vehicle and charging ten times what they should and you turn down the extra work they A vacuum hose off too make run rough then you have to pay somebody else to fix it these people are crooked don't trust them you will be sorry

Today I took my vehicle up there for an oil change and a tune up and They tried to add things to my bill and continuously tried to sale me things I did not ask for. They had my bill up over $800.00 when all I wanted was a tune up and oil change. After I told them no continuously they got my bill down to $430.000. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? I left there after 4 hours of waiting and dealing with their crap spending $112.00 which I believe was still a rip off. BEWARE!

Same problem as the other comment. Failed me for tint and gas cap. Took to another shop down the road and they passed no issues. Gas cap check by dealership to be good, and tint had been on since 09 with no issues. Bad shady business. Do not trust them.....

Horrible Experience with this business! DO NOT GO HERE...... I dropped my vehicle off for state inspection and the mechanic who did it completed the inspection and later failed the inspection due to the tint being too dark(which it is not). I was left having to pay for the inspection after he failed the car for the tint and "faulty" gas cap. It would seem like the tint would have been inspected before the test was started. They are scamming to make you come back or buy extra things that you do not really need or can easily replace yourself. Always in your face trying to sell you extra things even after you decline them. BEWARE!!! I am a police officer and see these things all the time from consumers calling in to complain on shady businesses like this. The so called manager tried to explain their logic in completing the test and did so with a ridiculous smirk on his face which did not make any sense. I m leaving a 1 star rating because there is nothing else lower.
