Steelhead Brewing Company was founded in 1991 and opened its first brewpub in Eugene, Ore., and has locations in Burlingame and Irvine, Calif. Its pubs have a brick setting, granite-topped bars, cherry-stained tables and wingback chairs. The pubs also have outdoor beer gardens and billiards rooms. It serves a variety of beers, including a wide range of styles from light-bodied Hefeweizen, Rhino Red to crisp India pale ale, stouts and porters. Steelhead also has a premium bar that has an extensive wine list. Its menu includes pasta, wood-fired pizza, fresh salads, barbecue ribs, steaks and seafood. Steelhead Brewing Company additionally caters to family celebrations and large parties, and banquet menus are available for groups of 20 to 120.
