Every time you visit this library you increase your chances of developing lung cancer. People smoke illegally on library property every day. No matter how many times you complain, library staff does NOTHING about it. Local law enforcement does not perform their legal duties in regard to illegal smoking either. Remember to wear a gas mask next time you visit the Burlington Public Library.

Every member of my family gets sick every we visit this library. This is caused by 2nd-hand smoke. Iowa has laws to protect my family from cancer-causing cigarette smoke, yet there is ZERO enforcement of the "Iowa Smokefree Air Act" at this library. Changes need to be made before any member of my family visits this library again.
