A horrifying experience with NOPCO.



I brought a relative in for shoes, who is without shoes currently because they hurt.

On the initial visit, I found the staff lackluster and disinterested, tho I didn't see any real red flags. A mold was taken and I was given an appointment 15 days in the future.

Two days before next appt, I got an alarming phone call. The shoes won't be ready for another month! SIX WEEKS they expect my elder to go with no shoes. In addition, we are moving out of state at the end of this month. Because my elder's insurance is state-dependent, we will be changing insurance companies. Do I know if these shoes will be covered? No.



200 miles each way to get a fitting? She is at an age where travel is very difficult.



But the part that was most disgusting was the coldness with which they handled my concerns.



First, they lied. They insist I was told there might be a delay. No I wasn't. Then they were so cold. "Not our problem". No problem shooting, no attempt to help. Disinterested in my concerns.
