I went to this salon in March for a cut and color. I was very pleased with my experience and even recommended them to a few friends. However, I checked my bank statement a few days ago (now 3 months later) and saw a charge from them for $210. After calling 3x and leaving messages I finally spoke to a manager who informed me that I had missed an appointment and that it is their policy to charge the full amount for missed appointments. I told her that I never made an appointment and that I never received a confirmation call. I was told that they didn't have my number on file (even though I was required to fill out many forms during my first appt. which included my number) and that many of their hair stylist will go in and set up appointments after their clients leave. I also questioned why my first appt. only cost $125 and they were charging me $210 for a cancellation and why they still had my credit card number on file. She couldn't answer either of these questions. I have contacted my bank and canceled my credit card. I can only imagine that they are pulling this stunt with other clients without them knowing. I will never go back to this salon, but if you do, I would recommend paying with cash and making sure that they do not schedule an appt without your knowledge.
