I had water damage to my home due to a water heater leak a couple of years ago. I was overwhelmed with the prospect of what would happen to my home, and rather my home would be sound after the repairs. I contacted another company from the yellow pages, and got a bad feeling. My insurance company set me up with First Call, and I am SO glad they did! Everyone was professional, thorough, and treated my home as if it were their own. The only issue I had was with the carpet contractor they used. I was not happy with the quality of the carpet/vinyl instillation. When I made First Call aware of the situation, they immediately came out to inspect (they had been inspecting all along at each step of the repair). They were VERY upset as well, apologetic, and took immediate action to correct the problem (it was fixed the same day). In fact, I think they are no longer working with that carpet installer due to the problem. Anyone can have satisfied customers when everything runs smoothly, but it speaks volumes when problems are handled in such a way that the customer would not hesitate to use them again. I hope I never need home disaster repair again, but if I do, I will call them.
