Located in Burlington, N.J., Mitchell Fire Company No. 3 is one of the three separate fire companies that form the City of Burlington Fire Department. It works to provide fire suppression, protection of lives, and emergency medical and rescue services. The company houses a fleet of fire trucks, tanks, ladders, engines, cars and rescue vans. Mitchell Fire Company No. 3 is comprised of more than 10 full-time officers and administrative staff and over 35 volunteer members. It operates a communication and dispatch center that coordinates responses to fire and medical calls for service. The company also has a ladies auxiliary unit.
