Went here because close to Marble Falls. I was having a severe kidney stone attack. They gave me a CT scan for $6900 and three pain meds. My husband took care of me throughout. They shut the door and let us be. He had to go find them for another shot once. NOT a LEVEL 5 like they billed us. Received a total bill for $12,575!!!!!! More bills coming in now. We will never go back here. Ridiculous. Drive somewhere else.

1 star instead of 0 only because the Burnet hospital and its specialty clinic in Marble Falls are both clean, and Most (not all) staff at both places were nice. The billing was the Worst hospital Ever. A mammogram and ultrasound cost over $1200 total, and luckily my insurance paid a large chunk, or it would've cost more. I learned After receiving the bill that the ultrasound was Two different cost. Unbeknownst to me I'd be charged twice, thanks to how the hospital charges, and how my insurance charges (some would count it as One procedure, supposedly - lucky for those insurance holders). But, I paid it full, and plan on filing a complaint to my insurance. Hopefully, insurance companies and hospitals will start to make their billing policies more clear, so that Somewhere along the way, we Patients know what is going on with our charges. All would've been fine and well, if that was the end of the story. However, I then received a bill in the mail for TEN lousy dollars, stating I'd be turned in to a collection agency if I didn't pay within 10 days. It was dated December 31, which I didn't receive until January 14. Which, I could've let this $10 go without much fuss, except that I'd Already paid the mammogram in full the Very day I received the bill in the mail, and have the receipt for it. I paid the ultrasound in full, and have the receipt for it, according to any charges shown on my Bill from Them, the hospital. I called when I first received the ultrasound bill, and they said the amount shown on That bill was what I owed, which I later paid (a couple months or so after receiving the bill, since the woman on the phone said I'd have a "pause" or whatever wording she used, put on my account, so I could talk with my insurance). After I paid, I called to verify the ordeal of the ultrasound was over, and they said yes, that was the Full payment. So, Why am I getting turned in to a collection agency????? I NEVER have in 25 years, except as a teen when I refused to pay a Sprint charge when they'd Drastically changed their billing, and I didn't pay the $50-$100, just let them turn me in. Well, I'm paying this hospital $10 bill, but am extremely disgusted with them. I thought I just read in the newspaper about this hospital Expanding? Scary. I hope they get their act together beforehand.
