I wholeheartedly agree with the 04/02/3013 review by Mike A. This was our first time to stay at Heart of Texas Lake Resort. We stayed in a nice, comfortable and plenty cool condo on some hot Texas days. There are plenty of activities for everyone including fishing, swimming pool, arcade, basketball goal/ball and miniature golf. There is a nice laundromat so we could return home with clean clothes. The office sells several items, including ice, fishing tackle and bait. But, what really sold us were the owners (Ruth Ann and Kenny) and all the staff. They really made our stay enjoyable; they exceeded our expectations!!! We will definitely return to Heart of Texas Lake Resort!!

My family & I have been coming here since 1997. First in cabins, now in our fifth wheel. Every few years, we drive around looking at other alternate RV parks, but nothing comes close to having the amenities! We stay at other RV parks throughout the year and this place is #1 w/o a doubt! This resort has everything - pool, lake access, mini-golf, game room, fishing dock w/ lights & cleaning table, boat ramp & slips...if you can't find something fun to do, you have a problem! Plenty of places to stay (condos/cabins) for the non-RVers and a huge lodge perfect for reunions. Last but not least, the owners - Ruth Ann & Kenny - are awesome, friendly, helpful, and definitely accommodating!!!
