I had an excellent experience with Tara the piercing artist. She was very professional, knowledgable, and friendly. She made my intimate pricing a very comfortable experience. The facility is very clean. All instruments used were sanity and opened in front of me. I was given after care instructions and contact information in the event I have questions or concerns. The gal at the front desk was extremely helpful and sweet. I would recommend Tara as a very experienced piercer if your considering having something done.

Was nervous about getting my first tattoo, but I had a great time. The people in the shop were great and Josh is really cute. Fun experience and I love my butterfly tattoo.

Returned to The Aloha Monkey for another piece of Art.

What a great group of people to work with. The shop is super clean and the people were very friendly. A real positive, upbeat place. The group of people who work there seem to have a good relationship because you could feel it in the atmosphere. My tattoo was awesome. It is the second one I've gotten and both have been at the Aloha Monkey.

To get a good Tattoo from an Out of Town Artist who is well know was so awesome.

The Monkey has Guests in every week.

Shop is always Clean with Super ideas and a fun environment.

It would be nice on your profile to have pics and alittle info. about your business and the people that do the piercings. So, that a person checking out your business could actually see who may be working on them. Just a thought...

I have a couple of other tatoos but when I went to the Monkey I had a new experience.

It was CLEAN beyound belife and the art work is amazing

I decided late in life I wanted to get a tattoo. I was a little nervous, so I wanted to make sure I got it done by someone who really knew what they were doing. After conversations with several people, I finally decided on the Aloha Monkey. Great choice on my part. I gave the owner, Josh, an idea of what I wanted, and he designed it for me. It turned out beautiful and he didn't even hurt me. I was so impressed with how clean the shop was also. They were very kind to this Grandma and I really appreciated it. I may even go again.

I have looked all around to find a quality shop and I have finally found one. If you want new ink or need a cover up or whatever you may need this is the place to go.

i love the shop. i have been going there for years. i have gotten 13 tattoos and 13 peircing ( but even more since i have let some close and then re done them). i love the shop. they are very friendly and open. i have really never went in with a deffent tat that i wanted just an idea, and they have done there best to some up with the tat and put it down. they are very willing to take time and talk to you.

The artists are very friendly, but not very willing to put effort into custom work. If you go there with an exact drawing of what you want or you pick something off the wall, they'll make it look good. However, if you want to discuss your own idea it is pretty much impossible. I explained my concept clearly and had a very good reference picture, however it went nowhere. The artist I spoke to wasn't even willing to show me different scripts he could do and already started telling me prices before he even fully understood my concept. Again, go here if you already have something drawn up. But expect to be disappointed if you go here looking for something special.

I always wanted to get my tongue pierced but i was too scared. Last night i decided to finally get it done and Aloha Monkey was the place i chose. I think that was the best decision i ever made. Their staff was very friendly and very honest. The place is very sanitary and they open all the sterile packages in front of you. It didnt hurt as much as i was expecting it. The person that did my piercing was definetly an expert, because not only was it almost pain free, but it took about 3 seconds for him to do it. Today its alot more painful then when i got it done.Overall great experience!

i am a tattoist my self so i see tattoos all the time. i can honestly say that i havent seen any bad tattoos from this shop, unlike the canvas in prior lake. ive seen many not so good tatts come from there and have even covered a few myself.
