I, like the other reviewers, had a very good experience, but my job was a bit different. I am a doctor in the Lapeer area and needed to remodel my offices.
My decorator had run across the Spielmaker’s on a residential job and coordinated them onto this job to take care of the custom cabinets & counter tops. Now, I did not have to work with Tom and his crew much in the beginning because my decorator took care of all of the colors, finishes, etc, but I did experience their quality of work and professionalism on the day of installation. Actually two days of installation.
To make a long story short, they came in on the weekend so as not to disrupt my regular hours, or my patients. There were 4 workers including the owner, Tom Spielmaker. I was so impressed at how organized and in sync they were. The job had to be ready for us to open on that Monday and other than a few minor adjustments that needed attention that following week it was! They worked two very long days, but got it done and it was a very sizable job.
Hats off to Tom and his crew. It was a very pleasant experience and I highly recommend them to anyone looking for commercial work like this!!

These guys are the best! I have been dealing with the spielmaker boys since they were on ballenger highway in the 70s. I’ve always gotten what I wanted when I wanted it and never had a problem.
I just had a small job I did myself and ordered the Formica glue and wood from them. They don’t get it the next day like they used to, but I got it in just a few days and as always they cut the whole job up and had it ready to go. It’s great, when I get on the job I just undo the materials and I’m ready to start building. I’ve had many projects done by them over the last 30 plus years when I have the time
I do it myself when I’m busier I have them make the top and I pick it up and install
it. Like I said they are the best and I wouldn’t go anywhere else. I don’t even know if you can go anywhere else for this kind of stuff.
