Provided by YP.comI've visited Babs twice since they've opened, both on Sunday mornings about an hour after they open, which is 8:00 A.M. Perhaps the staff is not quite awake at this time, but there have been errors both times with my order. I would recommend checking your order before you leave if you are doing take-out. For my first take-out order, I ordered two basic breakfast plates ($6.75 each) which consist of two eggs, apple wood bacon or link sausage, potatoes, and toast. The only thing wrong with the order on my first visit was that a request for cheese on the eggs of one plate was forgotten. From previous experience, it is almost impossible to get cheese on your eggs in Atlanta. Babs offers fresh juices and coffee drinks. I found their cappuccinos ($3.10) to not be strong enough for my tastes. If you prefer Caribou's cappuccinos to Starbucks, then take my advice and ask for an extra shot of espresso. Their orange juice ($1.95) is indeed fresh tasting and filled with juicy pulp.
The breakfast plates were fresh tasting if not particularly interesting. I found the potatoes to be a bit bland, but nice and crispy. The fresh fruit included with the breakfast plate is a nice touch, but would be better if contained in a small cup, otherwise, with takeout orders, the hot food can get mixed up with the fruit, making it not so enjoyable.
