This place serves the BEST BBQ I have had since I was in Memphis! The prices are very reasonable and the portion size is great! 1 pulled pork platter easily enough for 2 but you won't want to share! The owners are very nice and truly there to serve the public. Butler, Kinnelon and surrounding areas NEED this kind of restaurant in our area. Give it a try...You won't be disappointed. We LOVE the food. Highlights: pulled pork with chipotle sauce, smoked turkey, corn pudding, collard greens, cheddar garlic biscuits…. Note: the smoked meats are the real thing, not processed meat (i.e., the turkeys are whole birds smoked, etc.), and the meat is smoked, not cured, meaning NO nitrates/nitrites. I'm thrilled to have a good BBQ place in the area FINALLY. Can't wait to try the ribs!

This place is great! The food was fabulous! I felt as if I was eating a home cooked meal! I would definitely go back again.

Food is good but nothing special. I enjoyed the food and would go back again, but Up in Smoke BBQ would not be my first choice if I was looking to go out to eat.



Note: Do not expect to be able to dine in with a large group as there are only about 6 two-seating tables. It is not the owners fault; they had to work with the space they had, but it should be known before you go to the restaurant.
