We LOVE the food. Highlights: pulled pork with chipotle sauce, smoked turkey, corn pudding, collard greens, cheddar garlic biscuits…. Note: the smoked meats are the real thing, not processed meat (i.e., the turkeys are whole birds smoked, etc.), and the meat is smoked, not cured, meaning NO nitrates/nitrites. I'm thrilled to have a good BBQ place in the area FINALLY. Can't wait to try the ribs!

Food is good but nothing special. I enjoyed the food and would go back again, but Up in Smoke BBQ would not be my first choice if I was looking to go out to eat.



Note: Do not expect to be able to dine in with a large group as there are only about 6 two-seating tables. It is not the owners fault; they had to work with the space they had, but it should be known before you go to the restaurant.
