Goes behind families back concerning patient. Would only let patient out for 1 hr visits. Family lives in Butler and they moved patient to a nursing home a hour away ,without discussing the move with the family first . Found out from patient they were discussing a move, but did not know where. Called to discuss situation and was told they would contact me the following day. Waited for call and finally 2 hours from the time the move was to take place they called and was told it was already in the works. When discussing that the place was now 45 mins to a hour away, the director tried to convince me that it was only 15 to 20 mins away. I argued with her that it wasn't ,till she googled it and found out I was right. Very sneaky. Now I have to figure out how I'm going to get my elderly mother, who is slipping away from dementia up there to visit her son. Very angry. Felt they should of discussed the place he was being moved to with us first. I am his emergency contact.
