My agent did a good job of finding a buyer pretty quickly and helping me through the selling process, however, she gave my private cell number to the buyer without my permission instead of acting as a liaison between us. The buyers have inappropriately contacted me, they are pushy, and the agent is not willing to help at this point. I have sent 2 emails to this agent since being contacted by these buyers, and have had no response. A real estate agent and friend here in NJ agrees that this was not a professional thing for her to do and said she should be acting as a liaison between them and me as part of her job which is how it works in NJ. Because of this, I would have difficulty recommending Northwood Reality. I don't think it is my responsibility to find these people someone to cut the grass which is one reason they contacted me. I want them to leave me alone now that they are the owners. I also have health issues that I am dealing with and this situation is stressful. I would never give a private phone number out without permission and I feel that this was a way to get out of dealing with a situation that a realtor, not seller, should do as part of their job.
