Provided by YP.comPlease do not rent through this company. They are the worst. They do not maintain your property at all. They will blame you for anything that needs fixing. This company is horrible and my experience has been awful. I can not wait until my lease is up, I do not recommend!

Provided by YP.comThis company is god awful !!!! I wish I would have read some of the reviews about this company before I had rented from them. My husband and I were desperate to find a place to rent as quickly as possible because he'd been hired at a new job outside of Anaconda, at the time we were living in Bozeman. We found a house for rent with this company and they approved us, the place was filthy but we didn't care and told them we were fine with cleaning it ourselves if it meant we could move in sooner. So that's what we did, we moved in and cleaned the place ourselves.
During our 2 years there we had to call the company only one time when our water heater went out in November. November in Montana is cold, it took this company a week and a half to get us a new water heater and have it put in.
Just an FYI if you have to call their offices for ANY REASON just know they will never answer, you always have to leave voice mails and notes and hope they call you back with in a week.
So the day came to move out and I gave SBPM the full 30 day notice they require to move out. I was called back and told they would do a walk through a week before actually moving out and was told this was standard practice with their company even though most places were a mess what with tenets being in the middle of moving and not to worry. I was told they would call me to set up a walk through date. No one ever called me so I called them 4 days before I was supposed to be out. I left a message as usual and got a call back later from a guy saying he'd like to the the walk-through that day, I was on my way to work and couldn't be there, he said it was fine that he had keys to my house and that he'd just leave the check list on my kitchen counter when he was done.
The check list basically said we needed to do everything, which makes sense since the house was in chaos from packing. So we packed up and loaded our trucks and the last day we spent just cleaning the house had having the carpets professionally done. We spent all day cleaning, me, my husband, his mother and his sister. 4 people cleaned that place spotless. Even the guy who came to clean the carpets said he'd never seen a place so clean! Anyways we locked up when we were done and put the keys in an envelope with what our new address was going to be and dropped them off to SBPM on our way out of town.
A week later my husband and I were in town again and decided to stop by their offices in person to see when we might hear about getting our deposit back. They said that we should expect most if not all of our deposit back within 30 days from the date we moved out. We gave them our new address again, written down.
30 days later we heard nor saw anything about our deposit. So I called, and called, and called, I left numerous voice mails and ended up sending a few emails because I was getting upset. When we finally heard from them they said they had sent our deposit to the forwarding address they had on file, my husbands mothers address is where they sent it supposedly. Where they got her address from I have NO CLUE! We called his mother to see if she received the check, she had not but curiously enough 2 days later our check arrived at HER house!?!? hmmmm. our full deposit was $889.00 the check they gave us was $195.00. They said we were being charge for a whole range of stuff from cleaning to spackling to replacing sink faucets that needed replacing but only from normal wear and tear, not because we had broken anything.
Basically a long story short I had to fight with this company for 2 1/2 months after my move out date to get what they owed me and unfortunately it took me threatening to take them to court and reporting them to the real estate association.
My advice is do everything you can to avoid this company but if you have to rent from them TAKE PICTURES when you move in and WHEN YOU MOVE OUT. Document everything and keep dates of everything too.

Provided by YP.comCompany did not maintain the property that we rented, though they charged owners for it. Impossible to get ahold of anyone at office. Took weeks to hear back from anyone. Owners of the buildings that had hired Silverbow to manage property ended up ending services with them half way through my contract because of so many complaints from all renters. Silverbow did not know that we were in contact with property owners and attempted to keep charging me for rent after they had been fired as managers of the property... that's fraud. Would not recommend this property management company to anyone looking to rent or looking for someone to manage your property.

Provided by YPmobileWhen I moved in I was asked to make a list of things that needed to be taken care of. I submitted my list 2 times because they stated they didn't get my first request . So they sent over a painter and a cleaner that were not bonded and insured which is a legal action for contracted employees. The painter even came back and asked if I saw his glass meth pipe at that point the cleaner distracted me away to clean the shelves and closets that should have already been cleaned probably to give him a chance to steal my belongings. I have contacted them several times as well as the Butte Police Department but at this point I have no response. Frankie at Silver Bow management company said to me I needed to contact my renter's insurance. I called my insurance agent and then they said why would you take a ding on your account for something that their employees did. This company has a huge bad reputation of renting unfit properties and being operating in a criminal Behavior and legally.that's just

I had scheduled an appointment we can from out of state I had faxed 20 pages of information for them. We looked at property that was not as it appeared on the website some not ready to inhabit. We chose another Realtor to rent from and then he transferred the property back to silver bow! No heat in Jan and part of Feb it was 25 below that month no hurry on their part to fix heat or apply and no cost reduction. Initially when we signed the lease with another property manager I requested my information at Silver Bow to be returned they refused! Finally after conflict made them shred all our personal information as we were not renting from them until it mysteriously got transferred back to them. Trying to move out now can't wait to see the problems there! We have to schedule professional cleaning from their select list of providers cannot do it our self. Now they won't return deposit and have all sorts of made up charges. This place is a scam.
