We were on our way to Glacier, stopped to fuel up and asked the local where to eat. He gave us a few places, but said if you want a steak, the Derby is where you go. My steak was awesome. The best I have had in years.

Wife and I stopped at The Derby on our way thru Butte. Great steaks and our waitress was the best. 2 thumbs up....

The steaks here are outstanding. It looked like it had been recently remodeled. The wait staff was friendly. When I come back to Butte I will definitely be back.

We wandered into Butte one evening and stopped to shop. My favorite past time as most women can relate to. We asked the shop keeper for a good place to eat and she recommended The Derby. If her store had been opened when we finished eating I would have given her a huge hug. That was the best steak I have ever in my 60+ years have eaten, and I'm from Texas cattle country. We are planning another vacation and this is one of the places that we will make sure and stop at on our way to and from Canada. Loved it, loved it, loved it!

I had a business lunch at the Derby with a customer. The service was great. The waitress checked on our status frequently. The food was fantastic and very reasonable prices. The luncheon steak was tender and had great flavor. I would recommend it to anyone. Our meals came very quickly. Atmosphere is good. Noise was not an issue. I like the fact they keep the bar separate from the restaurant and also the casino is separate. A very nice lunch experience. I would recommend to anyone.
