Provided by YP.comWe have used leashes and leads for boarding our dog for several years. We have generally been happy with their services. We purchase specialized food there and recently moved vet care to the clinic located in their facility. As a loyal Leashes and leads customer I was disappointed in the recent customer service we received. They have a policy of charging an entire nights boarding if your dog is not picked up by noon on your "check out" day. We have had a stay in the past where we were unable to return until after 5PM and have payed the extra fee. Today we were cought in single lane traffic. We called from to road to say we may be 20 to 30 min late. We were promptly reminded that we would be charged. We then stated we would then consider picking her up in the AM instead, we were told that that was not possible because they were completely booked solid. We ended up arriving at the check out desk at 12:14 and were charged the extra fee as promised. When we were handed our dog we were told that she was due to go to the bathroom and hadn't been taken out yet. We arrived home and immediately checked the on line reservation site for an overnight stay for a dog of the same weight etc as ours. According to the web site there was space available. We were very disappointed in the attitude and dishonesty we received with the employees on the telephone. Leashes and Leads clearly has a large number of clients that our patronage will not be missed and our review will most likely not be chosen to post. We will not be returning. We do not want to be treated like someone is doing us a favor. We are paying for a service.

Excellent place to shop for pet supplies! Great selection of pet foods to please even the most picky eaters. Low prices, nice selection of pet accessories as well. Very friendly staff too. They don't sell pets and support animal rescue efforts as well. A really great place to shop :)

We recently took our dog to get its haircut. We showed the groomer a picture of her last haircut from when we lived in another state. The end result was nothing like the picture, what we described, or what one can expect from a professional groomer. Upon picking her up, we asked them to fix the major problems, like the massive beard they left on her. There is still fixing that will need to be done, but I will gladly go somewhere else to have this done. I'm really not picky about dogs' hair, it's just that the job they did is not symmetrical, is very unflattering for the breed, and looks really sloppy. I will not be returning.

They are the friendliest people i have met. They love dogs and love their job. They take care of my dog when i am away, and have actually become friends through the process. When we walk through the door they not only know me, but they know my dog by name:D They are wonderful! And anyone would be lucky to have their pet taken care of by them.

My husband and I started shopping here and it has been a pleasant experience ever since. First off they actually carry the food we are looking for and second they treat you like a person and not just another annoying customer. They seem to just genuinely care about their customers and their pets.Thank you Leashes and Leads.

The fact that employees won't bring their dogs there says it all. Many things go on there that are not how they advertise to the public. Also keep in mind as an example, they have hidden the fact that kennel cough was present there, causing many dogs to become ill and need medical treatment. That's just the start of what really goes on there.

whether you are in the store, or leaving you dog in their hands... leashes and leads employees are well informed and have a true compassion for animals. i am always impressed on how well the store staff know their products, and how willing they are to go out of their way to help me find the right food for my dog.. as for their boarding, i had to leave my puppy in there for two weeks, and it was the first time i had ever left him.. when i got back he was so happy and they had given him a free bath too:):) i was so happy to see that my puppy was alright, i am more than confident to leave my dog at leashes and leads at any time!

The review "Not to Be Trusted" is accurate. L&L strives to earn its bad reputation. Does the place never acknowledge its responsibility for dogs that get injured or sick while in L&L "care"? I cheer for free enterprise and capitalism -- of course businesses need profits -- but I do appreciate integrity, too. L&L puts customers low-lower-lowest on its priorities list.

Aug 29, 2010, Leashes & Leads owners, we woud like to say what a positive experience we had at Leashes and Leads this weekend. We brought our beagle to Leashes & Leads Saturday, Aug 28 for an overnight stay. Four hours after we dropped him off we received a phone call from one of the employees, Carissa. She told us he had been trying to dig his way out of the kennel space, causing his paws to bleed! We feel that she went over and above the call of duty to make our dog comfortable. She took him out of the kennel to spend the rest of the work day in a room near the employuees and then, with our approval, took him to her house for the night, so he wouldn't have to spend the night in a space he was obviously distraught over! When we came to pick him up, the front desk staff had gone out of their way to make accommodattions for our dog to ease his anxiety. They have obviously hired staff that care deeply about the well-being of the animals under your care. We will highly recommend Leashes &

They say they have a 6-1 ratio..ha, and leave your pet there, forget it! When I did a walk through there was more like 10-20 dogs per person, in fact they were bragging about how many dogs were there, and according to their estimate and the number of employees it's like I said, 10-20 dogs. I left my pet there and he came back injured. I should never have gone back the second time but a friend encouraged me and said that it was probably just a fluke and that they had never had trouble with their dogs there, so I tried it again. Again there was a problem my dog was sick, so back to the vet I go. I wish I had asked my vet first before going there. It has taken 2 weeks to get him better! No one seemed to care when I told them about these problems, you just get a blank stare and then they tell you "I have no idea how that could have happened, we take good care of them" The facility does look nice I will give them that, but it was so not worth it and it makes me wonder do they real
