After I made the appointment at Global Eye Care, my sister told me she had been there and that the doctor was extremely rude to her. He had given her an incorrect contact sizing and wouldn't re-fit her because her "insurance wouldn't cover it."

Despite her story, I kept the appointment since it was the next day and I needed new contacts. What a mistake! The doctor was very rude during my exam. One example: When I would read a line incorrectly, instead of moving on to another line or a different eye correction, he would say, "no, that's wrong. try again." Clearly, if I misread the line, I can't see it well. Overall, he made me feel uncomfortable and like I had done something wrong. I'm a paying patient and should be treated as such. I have been wearing contacts and having fittings for 13 years and have never felt so uncomfortable with an eye doctor!
