We purchased a greenhouse which was delivered on September 7, 2016. We refused to accept it because it had severe damage. I took photos of it just in case. We have been trying to get an answer as to when we will receive the replacement product and for eleven days now we have gotten nothing but the run around. Finally today, they are telling me that the item is back-ordered. They want to know if I want to be put on a waiting list for it or want a full refund! What do you think I said? I will find a greenhouse from some reputable company. Also, customer service is overseas. They are not hiring Americans. I also have a problem with that. This was the last purchase from Harbor Freight for me!

Relatively decent quality tools at low prices. What a great find. Over the years though, it seems to have slipped. The prices are creeping up, the sales aren't such great sales and the quality is highly variable. What hasn't changed is the poor customer service; lousy 10 years ago, lousy today. When they do hire someone who is polite and helpful, they don't seem to last. Cashiers in particular can be quite rude and unfriendly. Tonight though, I think I've sworn off the Harbor Freight Tool addiction. A few days ago I purchased a battery charger for their " Drillmaster" Rechargeable drill. It failed after a few hours. OK it happens, so I bring it back without the receipt to exchange it. From the cashier ( who referred to me a " this guy" ) to the store manager who would not even look at me, I was told they would not do anything without a receipt - company policy, no exceptions. Really? For a $7.00 item. I'm done. Hello Sears, Home Depot, Lowes where customer service means something.

1 star is even to good! We bought a scissor lift back in March 2015 from Harbor freight we have yet to get all correct functioning part we keep getting excuse after excuse from this company and we still cannot use our scissor lift because we don't have all the parts when we try to call we are forwarded to someone that does not even speak English! How the hell do people run a business like this the customer service is awful

I have been buying a lot products at this store for years and I am getting sick and tired of how the staff at the counter tend to give me a bad time when I bring back a product that is defective. What is going on at that store? Do you teach your store staff to harass the customers every time a customer gets a defective product there and needs to return it for another one? Last night I wanted to open the box so I can look inside to make sure there were no visual broken parts and I was given a hard time over that and it was paid for. The box was crushed on one side and I was concerned about that. I am about to stop shopping at Harbor Freight if this disrespect doesn't stop. These children now a days have not been taught that the customer in number 1 and they are your bread and butter. KENT, WA Store #00190
