Dr. Gholami is an experienced gastroenterologist who specializes in all aspects of gastroenterology and digestive health. He is an expert in diagnostic, therapeutic, interventional endoscopy, and is particularly passionate about complex pancreatic and biliary diseases. EDUCATION AND TRAINING Dr. Gholami completed medical school with honors at Tehran University of Medical Sciences. After completing residency in internal medicine at University of Southern California (USC Medical Center) he continued his fellowship training in gastroenterology, hepatology (liver disease), and nutrition at Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU Medical Center). He then pursued advanced fellowship in interventional endoscopy including endoscopic ultrasound (EUS) and endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatograpthy (ERCP) at Kansas University (KU Medical Center). He then joined as a faculty member and assistant professor in the Division of Gastroenterology at University of North Dakota's major teaching hospital. First time visiting Dr. Gholami's office . The office was very nice , immediately off 101 , Staff very kind and attentive, had minimum wait time , Dr Gholami appeared very kind and passionate , extremely knowledgeable and explain my condition very well and involved me on decision making , I had multiple follow up call from the office, I would strongly recommend Dr Gholami , Excellent Doctor .
