Provided by YP.comOur H.O.A. (Dunten Place) in Meridian has it's own private well and after 14 years, our old pump finally died. I called 6 of the "BIG" well drilling and pump companies around the valley to get bids on replacing our entire system. Only 2 companies were interested as the old pipe/pump had to be pulled using a crane over one of our member homes at a distance of about 110 feet with power lines on 2 sides.
Everyone else wanted the easy jobs, where they could just sit over the well head with their truck, but Coonse didn't hesitate and was very responsive to give us a bid immediately. They not only had the lowest of the 2 bids, but after speaking with Gene at Coonse, he reassured me that using a crane to pull the pump would be no problem, he already had a great contractor that he works with that had the right equipment and the more he described the type of system he would build us, I knew they were the right choice.
The work went off without a hitch; nothing was disturbed around the home that the system sat behind; Gene got the whole job done literally in a matter of hours. He met me today at the well to start everything up for the first time as we were ready to begin our watering season and it went flawlessly. He explained how everything worked, how to winterize the system and built us a system that really runs itself automatically after he programmed our new controller...Coonse is definitely the first one to call for all your pump projects, I'm so pleased with their work...Great Job!

Provided by YP.comMy water quit on June 14/2014. I have no way to get a hose from a neighbor. So I called Coonse who had previously done all the work on my well, which includes 2 pumps, 2 switches, new pump lines and casing, etc. The original pump company who had installed the well 28 years ago had done a horrible job and the casing was all crooked and so forth. So, I called Coonse early Monday morning, after asking me if I was a customer, they told me that the gentleman who works on the wells prefers to set up his own time and that she would give him a note, and he would call me make Tuesday morning, meanwhile, since Saturday I have no water for the house, for the animals, to wash dishes, clean up or use a bathroom.. I am packing water in from the pond down the way, and the above ground pool, boiling it to make sure it is safe for the animals, buying as much water from the store as i can. So, I called them at about noon on Tuesday, the woman who answered the phone said she had given him the note, but that they were very busy getting a project done, that needed to be finished today, and that it might be tomorrow that he would call me back. The well driller for Coonse was so busy that he didn’t have the time to make a five minute call to me and explain anything. I felt stupid. I have debilitating seizures and don’t wish for this situation to get any worse. If they do not want my business they please tell me from the start, as that would be much nicer, and less cruel. I really feel stupid because on their web-site says "Our customers receive quality products and honest, dependable service when they choose to work with us." "Coonse Well Drilling & Pump Co Inc has been the name to trust when it comes to drilling and pump services in Caldwell, ID." and after hours emergencies( which i didnt want to pay a charge for) please call, this is all quote, un quote. I feel disappointed.
Ok, Wednesday, June 18/2014, 9:45p. Haven’t heard one single peep from Coonse, I have been a loyal customer too! Ok, here is the scoop, so Ashley Heating and Cooling whom i trust so very much gave me a referral yesterday to Cloverdale Plumbing who made it a point to get out to the house ASAP this morning, and not only because i had no water for five days. The main pump switch had shorted out, and he fixed that and gave us a discount for the service which had an excellent warranty, but there was still something wrong with the well pump itself, and he stated that the company was not fully equipped to handle pulling a well pump out from 100 ft down, he apologized and gave me a referral to Hiddleston Well drillers, whom he said were honest people, the man from Cloverdale called them and told them the situation, who came out after a job today, to the house and tested out the well and found a major electrical issue, that the well pump was just fine, but there was no power getting to it from the breaker to the well switch, and they didn’t charge for the service at all, and suggested that we get an electrician to check out the panel and the line to this area, as when it shorted out, it would have shorted out the well switch.
I just love being blown off by a company/people who have no intention of returning your call because they don’t want the issue, they could care less about the business. They don’t call or return a call to say they cannot do the job, instead they are callous and disrespectful of my situation, and have no consideration whatsoever that i had trusted them and had had them for a very long time as a trusted repair company for my well, as i believe to keep the same repair people, as it takes less energy explaining everything over again, and the who, what, where, and when. So, i have learned a lesson.

Provided by YP.comThe pump that they put in our community well broke 8 years after they put it in and they originally told us they would change it. The next day they told us that they couldn't help us because they couldn't get a crane, which was a lie, they eventually told us that our job was to much of a hassle and couldn't spare to man power for it, leaving us high and very dry.
