Joe's is amazing I find something new and exciting every time I visit (I visit offten) he is a great people person with a lot of personality and when In his store I always ALWAYS find some reason to spend to suport local business we need more places like Joe's ok maby not his place is one of a kind Amazing!!!!!!!

Super friendly and could care less if we purchased anything. Kids loved him and I will definitely go back. Actually purchased an item from a competitor down the street he recommended us to after realizing he didn't have it.

Joe is A-Ok in my book,I went to his store today with a couple of items to trade and he had no trouble with my trade proposal. He even introduced himself asked my name,made me feel welcome. Joe has an AMAZING inventory,I highly recommend stopping in.

(JOE IS MEAN!!) I have been in this shop 3 times.... The first 2 times the owner Joe, talked non-stop about his strong political views and openly bashed our Mayor and our City. I was surprised at his negativity toward the City to which he occupies a store front on the MAIN ST....??? Must have visited his shop on the wrong days.. right?? So 3rd times a charm? NOPE! Walk in and he is going on and on to other customers about "the stupid people in this town." After he made several racist comments, I calmly asked Joe why he owns and operates a business in Caldwell if he has nothing good to say about this town or the people that live here. I was shocked when he began raising his voice, calling me names and using profanity . That was interesting as all I did was ask an honest question because I happen to be one of the "stupid people in this town." JERK!!!

I WOULD NOT RETURN AS A CUSTOMER,unfriendly to minorities.......

I called the store to ask a question about an item. An employee told me they had it. I asked if he could look at one detail on the item and suddenly he got really really upset and told me he would not; he reacted as if I had just violated him somehow. That is not a way to run a business. I was willing to go and look at it, but wanted to make sure it was what I was looking for first. I hope the other employees are much nicer.

My brother and I went to downtown caldwell checking out the shops and scenery, everything was fine till we arrived at Joe's Emporium. WARNING THIS STORE IS NOT FRIENDLY. My brother and I have never felt so violated by the store employees. The entire time we were browsing we were followed, and not just followed but up in your face followed. There was a female in the store too and she was not followed. case and point we have never felt more discriminated in our life, for being a young adult and a different race.
