What a great store! Got my wife's ring there 2 years ago and totally happy. Just went yesterday for a birthday present and my opinion is still the same. Highly recommended.

The service and personnel at Swierenga Jewelers is absolutely wonderful! Having just moved up from Texas to the Great Frozen North and having no knowledge of any of the people or businesses in the Grand Rapids area, I was leery of dealing with an unknown jewelry store. However, within seconds of being greeted I felt completely comfortable. Not only was everyone warm and friendly, but they patiently and completely answered all my questions, explained how and why they do things as they do in the jewelry business, and offered me a very fair price for my gold and silver. Every patron in the store while I was there received that same treatment.



I am an old codger, and this isn't my first rodeo, so for me to be extremely impressed takes some doing. I am not familiar with all the jewelry stores in this area, and while some might be as good, I know it would be impossible for any of them to be better than Swierenga Jewelers!

Swierenga Jewelers has been a greet experience. You can go to those big name jewelers like Rogers and Holland or Siegels but you will not get the right price for your money, the service, experience and especially the collection of jewelry like you would at Swierengas. One thing I especially liked was that Tom, the owner, is always there and walking around. He is quick to answer your questions, he remembers your name when you come in, and they NEVER push you to make a decision. In fact, if they feel you should wait to make a purchase, they'll even tell you. If you want something ordered? Done. They have an outstanding collection of jewelry you wouldn't find in a big chain jewelry store. I can't even tell you how many compliments I have recieved on my ring. Oh and did I forget that you don't even need credit to put something on layaway? Just pay as you go! I hope this helps!
