Very cool place to visit at least once. The castle was neat. Wine tasting was busy and seemed touristy so not an intimate experience if that's what your looking for.

After seeing Darryl Sattui's new winery & life-long dream come true on Eye On The Bay, & loving V.Sattui winery for over a decade, I had to check it out. I planned a St.Helena/Calistoga birthday weekend for my husband around the tour/tasting at Castello & we weren't disappointed. From the level of authenticity in EVERY aspect of the castle's construction, to the continued thoughtfulness in the wine-making, and to all of the employees' knowledge & their genuine patience with the guests, makes me anxious to return. Every aspect was worth every penny. Some things in life you just have see to appreciate, this is one of them.
