Thornton Fractional North High School offers comprehensive educational and extracurricular programs, and is located in Calumet City, Ill. It is operated by Thornton District 215 High schools and is accredited by the Illinois State Board of Education. Its curriculum includes art, mathematics, business and driver education, music, physical and health education, English, science, family and consumer sciences, social studies, foreign language and special education. Its sports programs include golf, soccer, cross country, tennis, football and volleyball. It provides an opportunity for emotional, cultural, mental, physical and social growth of the children. The school s guidance program is designed to help students throughout high school in the areas of goal setting, planning, self-awareness, career exploration and decision making.
