Dr. Greer is one of the best doctors I have ever seen. Finding an OB/GYN, or any doctor in general, who I feel comfortable with has been a challenge for me, but Dr. Greer is wonderful. She has a very sincere, caring, and friendly personality, which makes speaking with her easy. She also is very thorough in looking into issues and makes sure that everything is explained in detail. While you may wait a bit before the appointment, it is worth it when you realize how much time she spends with you. She has a very positive perspective on health overall and always offers helpful guidance, making troubling situations much less stressful. I would recommend her to any woman in any stage of life!

Worth the wait

The doctor and staff are very helpful, caring, and supportive. The wait time is usually pretty long ranging from 20mins to over an hour. So when making an appointment make sure to schedule a day that you have time to spare. When the doctor does meet with you she takes her time and makes sure you get the best quality care. Definitely worth the wait!

Where to begin with this worst...

Where to begin with this worst doctor in the history. We went to her because my insurance had changed during the second trimester of pregnancy and the previous doctor was no longer the list. Upon calling and talking to the receptionist and making an appt. When we showed up she said, "My assistant should of told you we were not accepting new patients, but since you are here I guess I have no choice." In a mean way. This should have been a red flag but we made the next appt. As the weeks passed I got diabetes due to the pregnancy and she would be degrating towards me saying I was overweight and was sure I had diabetes my whole life. I did not have diabetes before nor with my first childs birth. As the pregnancy went on she insisted to have a c-section because she was sure the baby was WAY over weight and if we tried to give natural birth the baby "Would die and choke while attempting that." Brining me to tears we decided on the c-section. After birth the baby only weighed 7 pounds to which I should have punched her in the face for what she made me go through. This is by far the worst doctor EVER!!!! I would never recommend her to anyone, PERIOD!!!!

GOOD EXPERIANCE

I don't know if she is aware of her prior reviews, but when I saw her in May of 2009 for irregular periods and infertility I had a very good experience. She listened intently to my concerns, seemed to genuinely care about my feelings and want to help resolve my issues. She never made me feel like there was something wrong with me or that I was doing something wrong to cause my infertility. She did give me a pamphlet on the Fertility Diet as a supplement to her referral which I found helpful and interesting. Most doctors always jump straight to a drug they can prescribe instead. She referred me to a excellent specialist in Thousand Oaks to further address my problems, and I will be following up with her in the future. I would highly recommend her. The only complaint I would have is the wait time to see her. I scheduled my appointment 2 1/2 hours before work, but was still late since the appointment went over what I anticipated, however I feel she's worth the wait!

Horrible Unprofessional Degrading

This was the WORST experience I have ever had with a doctor. Dr. Geer was not only rude, but extremely degrading. I had gone to her in a very fragile, sensitive state, being concerned about possible infertility problems. She was extremely insensitive and lectured me about things she'd found in my paperwork. She went on to tell me how I shouldn't feel guilty about the kind of person I use to be, but this was done in a very judgmental way. I eventually wound up crying. Through the entire pelvic exam, she gossiped to the nurse in the room about other patients and specifically about a woman who had given birth that morning, she used her name. She refused to talk to me about any fertility issues, saying she wasn't concerned about that but was concerned about my weight. I was approx. 30 lbs above my ideal weight. I understand the concern, but again, this was done in a very degrading way. She had her nurse give me a voucher for WeightWatchers with her name as the referral. This was a horrible, degrading and traumatic experience that I still haven't gotten over. Apparently Dr. Geer is known for this type of behavior. Horrific in every way. This is not how a doctor, especially a woman doctor should ever treat another woman going to her for very sensitive concerns and in a very fragile state. Be prepared to be spoken to this way if you see her and be prepared to be spoken about in front of other patients, if you decide to use her.
