This use to be a good auction to do business with. You would pay $1.00 for your number card, and off you went.



Sellers would pay a percentage to have their items sold., however; now that still is the case, but buyers pay a hefty price too.



If you use a credit card, then you are charge a 5% convenience fee. (they should be happy you're there)



NOW their terms state that you pay a 10% buyers premium... Why should you have to pay to buy... this is greed... So get this



You go to the auction... Pay your $1.00 entry/card fee. You bid on some items...



Lets say you bid on some tools, a few pictures, a used computer and a few other cool looking items.



At the window, You receive a bill for $450.00 (your items), you must pay a 6% Maryland Sales Tax, a 10% buyers premium (Who knows what for), lets say you use your Credit Card for this transaction... so tack on another 5%...



So lets say you rack your bill up to $450.00 for example:



Bidders Number Card $ 1.00

Your Final Bill: $450.00

Outrageous Buyers Premium: $ 45.00

Credit Card Convenience Fee: $ 22.50

Maryland State Sales Tax: $ 27.00

Final Grand Total: $ 545.50



So if you're going to this auction to sell on e-bay, it's not worth it, because by the time you finish with both auctions outrageous fees, and your gas, postage, etc etc... You're only going to lose money, or make a few bucks if lucky.



Like I said, this use to be a good place to do business... I myself and several friends stopped going because of the greed.
