Roland Cooper State Park is a beautiful, peaceful campground on the Alabama River in Southwest Alabama. It has 47 RV sites, 14 primitive sites, 9 fully furnished cabins, a pavilion, boat launch, and Day Use Area. All RV sites have water, electricity, and sewer. The river is well-known for the great fishing. It is also a great place to kayak and canoe. The roads leading to the campground are paved and all sites are level and on a paved pad. Each campsite has a fire pit and a picnic table. There are 4 bathrooms, all are heated, 2 bathrooms have showers with hot water and flush toilets. A dump station is located in the campground at no charge to those who are camping.
