Worst appointment of my life. I went in after a positive home pregnancy test and having not had a cycle in ten weeks. She began an ultrasound but when her assistant came in and told her that my urine test came back negative for pregnancy, Dr. Cambridge stopped the ultrasound and said, "Well, that solves that...you're not pregnant." I was absolutely gutted. She then proceeded to berate me for my weight and tell me that I should not even be considering having a baby given that I am at such an "unhealthy starting point". I have PCOS and had recently lost 30 pounds, so her comments were incredibly hurtful to hear after all of my hard work. She did not offer a blood test to confirm whether I was pregnant or not, nor did she give me any explanation as to why I got a positive pregnancy test and why I hadn't had a cycle in ten weeks. She offered to run a blood test for cholesterol and glucose, which I declined since I had just been checked for those by my GP. I left her office in tears, with no answers and will now be seeking a more compassionate and competent OBGYN who doesn't judge me based solely on a number on a scale. If you're looking for understanding, compassion or someone who genuinely cares about what's happening to your body, do not go to Christine Cambridge.

Through our tough time getting pregnant and our emergency c section I wouldn't want any other Dr. Dr Cambridge and her staff are wonderful! I've seen her for four years now and I've always been treated with kindness. Even in a position of giving me not so great news she has called me herself, explained the results and treatment. I have had to wait once for an appointment, if you have an appointment in Placerville she might me delivering a baby! :) so congrats to whom ever had a baby the day my appointment ran late. Her staff tells you when you book your appointment this might happen. If you don't want to risk it go to Cameron Park.



I recommend her to anyone

I would not recommend this place in any way shape or form. The whole desk has the same 2 grumpy women working it every single day and they just talk badly about other employees and most of the patients they get on a daily basis. Not to mention Dr Cambridge is super unprofessional and really doesn't care about your wants or needs. When your in a delicate stage of your life, caring another life you want to be assured that everything looks and sounds good. well sorry to break it too you, the last review is totally true. you get into a room pretty fast but once your in that room expect to wait another hour. I would NOT recommend this office or Docter in any way! good luck with your pregnancies!

If you want your dr to care more about herself than your growing baby than this is the Docter for you. My first appointment she was totally cool and sweet but my second appointment she made me wait in the ultrasound room for 45 minutes! I thought my appointment was for 9:00 not 9:48. Once she was there in the room the appointment itself took like 3 minutes tops. We were super excited to see what the gender could be at 19 weeks and she took too long getting to the ultrasound room and says she is spaced for time and reschedules it for 4 days later.. Seriously?? Now I have to take off work again just a couple days later when it could have been so easy to just continue my appointment and get done what we needed too at the time of the appointment.. Dr Cambridge is super lazy and does not follow threw with what she is Suppose too.. She acts like your a stranger each time you come and doesn't even pretend to care about you or the baby. Not to mention that some of the concerns or questions you have about your growing child she just reply aggervated and tells you that if you have a miscarriage then you just have a miscarriage and there's nothing to do about it. She is very rude and seems to not even like her job. I would not recommend Dr Cambridge to anyone at all and when my sister in law told me not to go to her, I should have listened! She is terrible.. Now we switched to UC Davis which is sooo much better thank goodness! "Gaining over 25 pounds while pregant is excessive and just plains miserable and you look terrible like that so you need to watch your calorie intake and I would recommend that you only gain another 12 pounds nothing more" quote from Dr Cambridge
