I've been to the Brass Zipper three times now, and every time I've found wonderful new additions to my wardrobe, as well as several well-received gifts. I reach for these items in my closet all the time, and the sweater I gave my mom is one of her favorites. The store has a very appealing selection, from casual basics to comfortable and creative dressier clothes. And the owner gives great advice when asked, but is never pushy and will leave you to browse when you need time. This is becoming one of my favorite stores!

My Experience at The Brass Zipper

I purchased a pair of shoes a few weeks ago. I wore them in my home and on my porch so that I could get used to them. Unfortunately, the shoe cut into my foot and left an open blister, about 2 inches long and left a scab. Due to a family illness and consequently funeral, I was unable to return the shoes until approximately 2 weeks later. The owner of the store was very rude to me and did not believe me even though I told him repeatedly that I did not wear the shoes outside. He also stated that I should have returned them sooner. I again explained my family circumstance, and why I was unable to return them early, but he could care less. I asked if I could at least have store credit, but he did not care to accomodate me what-so-ever. Unfortunately, he lost a customer and I would never recommend this store to my friends or family.
