I started taking my dog there 6 months ago. They now have a new owner. She is great. Very caring, and takes time to listen to you even when she is really busy. My dog is a Havanese and needs grooming quite often. I do recommend the Gentle Groomer. The previous owner was rude.

I find it very interesting that there is a cluster of good (fluff like, questionable) reviews from people after a well thought out review from a real customer. My groomer has retired so I was in the market to find a new one, I found the service very unprofessional.

Initially I thought she was going to be a lifesaver since all of the other groomers in the area have a long wait til their next appointment and she said she would be able to fit my cockerspaniel in on the same say at 3 in the afternoon.

When I arrived I was a little surprised at her abrasive nature, and felt it was unusual that it was the 3rd time that she asked my name, contanct info and my dogs preferences. I became more concerned when I asked for a short cocker cut, with poodle feet and she replied "shaved all over then" I repeated what I had told her and she looked at me blankly reached for his armpits and said, he is matted so it will cost extra and all I can do is take him down all the way.

I asked for my dog back and we left. If a groomer does not know what a cocker cut is or wants to charge me extra for 'not taking the time to do a brush out' its definately not the place for me.

Now lets see if there is a new cluster of padded reviews after this one.

Just picked up Sassy from Becky at the Gentle Groomer and wanted to take the time to let people know what a special place the Gentle Groomer is . I have been to other groomer s before moro than I care to mention but once I discovered Becky I'm not going anywhere else . Sassy likes coming in and when I pick her up she always looks great and she doesn't stay all day. I highly recommend this place.

I took my pet here to be groomed a few times. The first experience may have been a red flag to not return, but I didn't really have any other local options that were so flexible with my schedule. I found the owner to be a bit brash, slightly rude, and I found it kind of strange that she would shoo me out of the door almost as soon as possible after I dropped off my pet. I never saw the back of the grooming facility, where all of the work takes place, which would have been nice. On one of the few trips, I dropped my pet off in the late morning, and was told repeatedly (after the owner said that she would call me when finished) that if I didn't come back by 6:00 she would lock the door and I wouldn't be able to get my pet. It was 11:00 am. I had already let her know that I was close by and would be right over when finished, but she treated me like an irresponsible idiot. But of course she said nothing when I returned ten minutes after I was told they were finished with full payment. The quality of the grooming is debatable. I would always find cuts on my pets belly when she was done... Without her even mentioning that there were bloody spots when I picked her up... I always found them once we returned home. The worst part and turning point was when it brought my cat home after a grooming session, and she was pretty lethargic the rest of the day. She seemed better the next day, so I shrugged it off to a difficult time at the groomer until about a week later when she was dizzy, lazy, scared, and unstable. I took her to the vet because I thought she had an ear infection. When they discovered cotton balls jammed in her ears so far down that they couldn't get them with regular tools, I got mad. I was even more angry when the vet told me that they were so hard and old looking that they were likely from the visit before the most recent one... They had likely been in there for two months. The vet said that the recent trip to the groomer probably got water in the cotton balls that were jammed inside her ears and re aggravated them. Be careful if you take your pets here... Dangerous forgetfulness and bad communication are just a few of the problems I found.

I can not say anything but lifesaver! My dog has a lot, and I mean a lot of social issues. I took him to every groomer suggested and researched! He's been ban from most groomers. After sharing my frustration with my vet, she suggested Gentle Groomer's!

I take my dog to get groomed at Gentle Groomer and the groomer does an awesome job every time!! They are really good with my dog.

I am pleased to recommend Gentle Groomer. We have tried different groomers and Gentle Groomer is the place to be for your pets grooming services! The staff are very personable, greet the dogs, and consistently provide excellent hair cuts for our dog Max.

This place has the most affordable groomer who is just the nicest person and loves animals! They even let my dog play with the other small dogs instead of locking her up in a cage all day.

The owner has taken this place to a new level, it is nice, clean and my dog loves going here. It is hard to find a groomer you and your pet feel comfortable with, but we do and I highly recommend this place.

I take my dog here every month. One of the workers is a lovely lady who really loves the dogs. I have never felt my dog was there "too long". In fact he is usually there 3-4 hours. I believe the pricing is quite fair and my dog is never traumatized or scared.

I have two standard poodles who have received great care from this place. I have taken them elsewhere and have been extremely disappointed. There are a lot of groomers out there but few possess the precision, knowledge, and technique involved in grooming poodles as these workers have. I don't think you will be disappointed. Please try them out.

Gentle Groomer has been grooming my dog for the past year. The staff are very nice and gentle with my dog. They give her a very good haircut and grooms her very well.

What I like most about Gentle Groomer is their flexibility. The owner is awesome and always comes through for me when I have scheduling conflicts. I also really appreciate that when you schedule an appointment for your pet, they aren't waiting for 4 hours in a cage before they are groomed. Gentle Groomer really cares about their clients. This location is the ideal for me in terms of distance and my friend often travels out of her way to pick up my pet when I'm not able to. In our opinion, it's really worth the distance!

We have a pound puppy that is a bit fearful of grooming. The owner and staff were so great with her! She got the best cut of her life!! It is also very affordable. I would defiantly recommend Gentle Groomer!!

I always take my dog to Gentle Groomer because this is the only place she likes to go. They do a great job here. My dog come out fresh, happy and sharp.
