Caney Public School District offers educational and cocurricular programs for students in grades kindergarten through 12. Located in Caney, Okla., the school district enrolls more than 1,000 students annually and employs over 100 personnel. The district is approved by the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools and Oklahoma State Board of Education. Its curriculum includes mathematics, English, biology, chemistry and physics, history, geography and economics. In addition to core subjects, the school district also offers courses, such as foreign languages, agricultural and industrial arts, computer science, physical and health education, vocational and instrumental music, and art and craft. Its students participate in a variety of clubs and organizations, including Family Career and Community Leaders of America, Future Farmers of America, National Honor Society, Future Business Leaders of America, and National Geographic Bee.
