My fiance tried to get a dress from Toula's and was greeted by extreme rudeness. When she didn't like what they suggested, she was told "Beggars can't be choosers" and sent off to another place.

Toula's is generally a toxic environment and certainly lives up to their already poor reputation.
This should come as no surprise if you have ever tried to read up about Toula's you'll know that they are well known for the rude service, lack of cleanliness, and general weak knowledge of dresses and the industry.

Also, I caution you to read their good reviews with a grain of salt.... I know employees that work here and have told me that the positive reviews were written by them at the demands of the owner.

Not sure where the poor reviews talking about rudeness come from, but I've had nothing but good experiences at Toula's. The employees have always been friendly with us, personable, and fun. Though, in my honest opinion, if the customer starts getting an attitude, they deserve rude service. I wouldn't want rude customers in my shop either, especially when there are plenty of decent ones to come around in their place. Sure the place is a bit small, and the environment tells of a more "family run" than "big company" shop, but I'm more than glad I stopped by.

I originally came in to be fitted for a bridesmaid dress in my friend's wedding, and ended up finding my own wedding gown that same day! They suggested several great styles to me, and offered discounts on a few that were just slightly over my budget. When I came to find bridesmaid dresses for my own wedding, we were never rushed, and even got free alterations on them due to the supplier no longer stocking the short style that I had originally wanted. All in all, a great experience! Would definitely recommend it. These ladies are great!

Good reviews are bogus... this place is a hole in the wall... and the customer service is beyond rude.

MY daughter found a dress here she liked, but it was not her size and I did not want to pay for that much alterations. It was crowed but the lady working with is was friendly and funny, I liked that.

I have never gone into a store where I felt like they didn't care if they actually wanted to make a sale or not. They were all rude, and very short with me . There were shoes everywhere and it felt like a basement in there. Their dresses were poorly taken care of and they didn't offer to clip the dresses that were too big on me. So even if I would have liked them I wouldn't have been able to see what it would even look like . I will never be going back to this sad excuse for a bridal and formal shop again .
